I first smelled this a few years ago and I loved it at first sniff. When I went back to get it, it was gone. I was obsessed with it after that. I finally ended up getting a small sample set, but it wasn't enough. I just ordered two full bottles and I'm happy to have it in my collection. I like unique scents and this is an uncommon interpretation of a rose perfume. It is not an "old" rose. It is not a plain rose. It's a mysterious, spicy, edgy rose. Don't be afraid of the leather note; it's not overpowering. I like clove notes in fragrance as well and the clove in this works great without smelling like some strange dessert. The longevity and sillage are amazing for a clean perfume (most clean scents don't last at all). I'm very impressed. I'll definitely be back for more.

i ordered this online without having smelled it, but the scent description sounded nice. it arrived quickly, and i thought this smelled just like the Rose Jam scent from Lush. i think it just didn’t smell right on me. my boyfriend hated it and i agreed that something smelled off. so i gave it to my hairstylist, who loved it and it smelled much better and a little bit different on her. i guess it just didn’t mix right with my “pHeRomOnes” or whatever. but i found it to be pretty strong (not offensive) and very long lasting, i could smell it on myself and my clothes till the next day. definitely not an older ladies rose scent, i think would work for day/night.
