PINROSE PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated: August 1st, 2020
Pinrose, Inc., operates the website located at www.pinrose.com. This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information that we receive when you use our Services (as defined in our Terms of Use and Conditions, accessible at www.pinrose.com/terms). This Privacy Policy applies only to our Services, including but not limited to the services and products offered by Pinrose, as well as any other applications, content or features that we may from time to time offer on our website and doesn’t apply to any third-party websites, services or applications, even if they are accessible through our Services. Also, please note that, unless we define a term in this Privacy Policy, all capitalized words used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Use and Conditions.
Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our Services, to administer your use of the Services (including your Account, if you are an Account holder), and to enable you to enjoy and easily navigate our Services. We collect two types of information from visitors of our website: personally identifiable information (“PII”) and non-personally identifiable information (“non-PII”).
How we collect and use information
Personally Identifiable Information
If you purchase our products, use our Services and/or create an Account, we may request certain PII from you. This may include contact information such as your name, email address, and shipping address, as well as financial information such as a credit card number and its expiration date. If we have trouble processing your order, we also will use this information to contact you. If you elect to take one of our fragrance quizzes and subsequently elect to create an Account, we may link your responses to each quiz to your PII. We may use such PII that we collect for billing purposes and to fill your orders as well as for the other purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
If you choose to create an Account through one of your SNS Accounts, you may have to provide us with your username (or userID) so that your identity can be authenticated by the SNS Account. When the authentication is complete, we’ll be able to link your Account with the SNS Account and access certain PII, such as your name and email address, and other PII that your privacy settings on the SNS Account permit us to access. We don’t receive or store passwords for any of your SNS Accounts.
If you contact us by email through our Site, we may collect and store your contact information and correspondence. We may also collect and store the contact information you provide if you choose to “stay in the nose” by opting into our mailing list. We reserve the right to use your email address and any other personally identifiable information that you provide to us to respond to you and to send you marketing materials for our own products and services.
If at any time you would like to change your PII, no longer wish to receive communications from us, or would like your PII removed from our database, please contact us at nosey@pinrose.com. Alternatively, if you would like to change your PII, you can choose to “update subscription preferences” through the hyperlink shown in our email communications. Lastly, if you no longer wish to receive any communications or materials from us, you can choose to "unsubscribe” through the hyperlink shown in our email communications. We’ll take steps to delete your information as soon as is practicable, but some information may remain in archived/backup copies for our records or otherwise required by law.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information
Information Collected Using Cookies. Like most websites, our website may incorporate “pixel tags,” “web beacons,” or similar tracking technologies and “cookies” that allow us to track the actions of visitors of our website. Pixel tags and cookies are used to collect non-personally identifiable information, such as the name of your internet service provider, the IP address of the computer you are using, the type of browser software and operating system that you use, the date and time you access our website, the website address, if any, from which you linked directly to our website, the website address, if any, to which you travel from our website, your home page customization preferences and other similar traffic-related information. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to identify that you’ve logged in to the Services and to tell us how and when you interact with our Services. We may also use cookies to monitor aggregate usage and web traffic routing on our Services and to customize and improve our Services. Unlike persistent cookies, session cookies are deleted when you log off from the Services and close your browser. Although most browsers automatically accept cookies, you can change your browser options to stop automatically accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting cookies. Please note, however, that if you don’t accept cookies, you may not be able to access all portions or features of the Services. Some third-party services providers that we engage (including third-party advertisers) may also place their own cookies on your browser. We may aggregate your information with similar data collected from other visitors to help us improve our website and the products, services, applications, content and features that we provide through our website. We do not use non-PII in any way to create or maintain a personal profile of you or collect personally identifiable information from you. Note that this Privacy Policy covers only our use of tracking technologies and cookies and does not include use of cookies by such third parties.
Information Related to Use of the Services. Our servers automatically record certain information about how a person uses our Services (we refer to this information as “Log Data”), including both Account holders and non-Account holders (either, a “User”). Log Data may include information such as a User’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, operating system, the web page that a User was visiting before accessing our Services, the pages or features of our Services to which a User browsed and the time spent on those pages or features, search terms, the links on our Services that a User clicked on and other statistics. We use this information to administer the Services and we analyze (and may engage third parties to analyze) this information to improve and enhance the Services by expanding their features and functionality and tailoring them to our Users’ needs and preferences. We may use a person’s IP address to fight spam, malware and identity theft. We also use the IP Address to generate aggregate, non-identifying information about how our Services are used.
Location Information. In some cases, we collect and store information about where you are located, such as by converting your IP address into a rough geolocation. We may use location information to improve and personalize our Services for you.
Quiz and Other Related Data. If you take one of our fragrance quizzes, we may collect and store your responses to our quizzes, even if you do not elect to subsequently create an Account. If you do not create an Account, we will not be able to link such information to your PII and/or Account, since you have not provided such information to us.

We will not share any PII that we have collected from you except as described below:
